Shelf
I used to pretty much spend all my time with books as a kid. Now, it’s scheduled into my bedtime. I think a lot about what I would do if I could freeze time. Probably read more. Something funny about how I’m closest to my childhood reading rates during a pandemic.
Stacks
I learn and understand by reading a ‘constellation’ of content around a certain subject. Some friends have also asked for starter packs into my favorite reads. Hard to recommend generally, but some imperfect lists worth reading:

- Surely you’re joking, Mr. Feynman
- Deep Work/Digital Minimalism/How to be a High School Superstar
- There’s No Speed Limit
- The Organization Kid
- The Power of Habit, then Atomic Habits
- Optionality

semesterly crisis rereads

How to Read
- read what interests you or you won’t read at all. maybe obvious but people get wrapped up in book fomo
- kindle paperwhite. airplane mode.
- nonfiction books can be read out of order. choose chapters that interest you. some books are fluffy/boring/bad, you don’t have finish them.
- recency bias. old books are underrated!
- I built a browser extension to remove the feed off all my socials. Realized my attention was being hijacked whenever I went to reply to a message or search for something.
